DAY 01: ARRIVE LEH – ACCLIMATIZE & REST – (3524M/ 11,526ft)
The aerial view over Leh is just Breathtaking. Upon arrival Meet & Greet at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Complete a day for rest and leisure to acclimatize. Later in the evening, you take a walk to the market for an easy walk. Overnight in Leh hotel.
DAY 02: LEH – SHEY – THIKSHEY SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast we proceed for the Leh & surrounding area Sightseeing. Visit the mighty and ancient Leh Palace & Monastery. Later proceed to Shey Palace. After Shey visit the largest & one of the ancient Monasteries in Ladakh – Thiksey Monastery. at last we will proceed to the enchanting Shanti Stupa. Overnight hotel in Leh.
DAY 03: LEH – NUBRA VALLEY (3048M/ 10,000FT) – 125KM / APPROX 5.5 HRS
After an early breakfast, we drive to Nubra valley crossing Khardung-la-pass – the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 ft.
Nubra valley is popularly known as the valley of flowers. It is situated to the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Check-in at the Hotel. Post Lunch visit the famous 108ft high Maitreya Buddha Statue overlooking the Nubra Valley. Visit Diskit Monastery, the largest in Nubra valley. Later visit Hunder Sand Dunes – cold desert of the Himalayas. You can see or ride a Double Humped / Bactrian Camel here. Bactrian Camels are found in only Nubra Valley in India.
DAY 04: NUBRA VALLEY – PANGONG TSO – 221 KM / APPROX 5 HRS
After your breakfast at the , proceed to Pangong Lake at the Tibet border. An all-encompassing trip to LADAKH will not be considered complete without experiencing the majestic as well as the serene ambiance of at least one of its three high-altitude lakes.
On reaching Pangong Tso, the largest brackish water lake in Asia, an absolutely amazing and captivating sight is laid out in front of you. One-third of the lake is in India while the other two-thirds of the lake is in Tibet. Most of the streams feeding the lake are on the Tibetan side. After having thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the lake, enjoy your evening at the campsite.
DAY 05: PANGONG TSO – LEH – 227 KM / APPROX 6 HRS
After your breakfast we enjoy the enchanting beauty of Pangong for a little while and then proceed to Leh. On the way you cross over Chang La (5320 M / 17,800 Ft), a signboard proclaims it to be the third highest motorable pass in the world.. Afternoon rest and relax or take a walk to the local market. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.
DAY 06: DEPART LEH
After Breakfast Check out from the Hotel. Our Representative beads farewell to you and Drop you to the Leh Airport. Tour Ends.
